Description
A close-fitting jersey mini dress with a wide boat neckline, a shaped waist and flared three-quarter sleeves. There is no shoulder seam: at the top of each shoulder the back folds over and laps onto the front, which makes the small fold you see in the photo. The neckline is finished with a narrow self-fabric binding.

- A soft, stretchy cotton jersey or fine rib with good recovery. A cotton jersey with 5% elastane is ideal. The binding is cut from the same fabric.

- 140 to 150 cm wide: 1.45 m for XS and S, 1.50 m for M and L, 1.55 m for XL and XXL. Add 10 cm for a fabric with a sheen or a one-way pattern.

- Seam allowance
- 1 cm on the seams. Dress and sleeve hems 1.6 cm, turned once. The neckline has none, because the binding wraps the cut edge.

Finished garment, measured flat. Chest, waist and hips are half the measurement all the way round; the waist is about 38 cm below the shoulder and the hips about 20 cm above the hem. Length is centre back, neckline to hem. Inches / centimetres.
Key details
- The shoulders are lapped, not sewn, so the neckline opens up to go over your head. The workflow shows how the two corners sit.
- The sleeves go in flat, and one long seam closes each side from the cuff to the hem.
- Close-fitting, the same size as the body at the bust and hips. It suits a bust of about 80, 85, 90, 95, 101 and 109 cm, with hips up to about 89, 94, 99, 104, 110 and 118 cm, XS to XXL. Choose by your bust, then check your hips.
- The sleeves are fitted to the elbow and flare below it, 46 to 51 cm from the shoulder.
