Description
A step-by-step guide to turning your own sleeve and bodice patterns into a raglan sleeve. Six figures take you from the first guide lines on the sleeve to the finished raglan line, with a diagram at each stage.
What you need
- Your sleeve pattern, with its centre line and the back and front notches on the cap
- Your front and back bodice patterns
- Paper for tracing
- A ruler and a French curve or Vary Form curve
How it works
Part 1 marks two guide lines on the sleeve and carries the back and front lengths over to the bodice. Part 2 draws the new raglan line on the bodice, moves it onto the sleeve and adds the curve where the neck sits.
