Before you cut

Before you cut. The straps and strap patches are drawn with NO seam allowance. That is deliberate — they are topstitched on with raw edges, which works because hide and leather do not fray. If you are building in canvas, twill, denim or anything that frays, add 1 cm to each long edge and fold it under before topstitching, or finish the edges first. Every other piece includes 1 cm.
