Description
A light, gathered pull-on skirt in cotton voile. It is two pieces, a front and a back, each cut on the fold and joined by French seams at the sides. The top is turned inside to make a casing for elastic, and the hem is finished with a narrow rolled overlock hem.

Finished garment, measured flat. Waist is relaxed on the elastic. Length is at the centre front, from the top fold to the hem; the back is about 3 cm longer at the centre. Inches / centimetres.
Key details
- Two pieces, each cut on the fold. The front waist dips 2 cm at the centre and the back is 3 cm longer.
- French seams at the sides and a folded-in casing, so every seam inside is enclosed.
- The elastic is about two thirds of the top edge, which gives soft gathers all round the waist.
- The hem is a narrow rolled overlock hem. The workflow shows another way to finish it without one.
- Choose by your waist: it suits a waist of about 72, 77, 82, 87, 93 and 101 cm, and hips up to 100, 105, 110, 115, 121 and 130 cm, XS to XXL.
