Description
An unlined, straight-cut work jacket for canvas or twill. Two long pleats run down each front from the yoke to the band, with a patch pocket over them. A point collar sits on a back stand, and a buttoned cover closes over the zip.

- A medium-weight woven with body and no stretch: cotton canvas, drill or twill. The sample is a cotton canvas. The jacket is unlined, so both sides of the fabric show. Canvas shrinks, so wash and dry it before you cut.

- At 150 cm wide: 1.80 m for XS, 1.90 m for S, 1.95 m for M, 2.00 m for L, 2.15 m for XL, 2.30 m for XXL. At 140 cm: 1.95, 2.05, 2.15, 2.25, 2.30, 2.35 m. Includes 10 cm extra for pre-washing.
- Notions required
- A separating zip: 51.4, 52.6, 53.8, 55.0, 56.2 or 57.4 cm, XS to XXL, or the next length up, shortened at the top. Four buttons, about 15 mm: two for the zip cover and one for each cuff. 0.5 m of medium fusible interfacing.
- Seam allowance
- 1.2 cm on the body seams: yokes, shoulders, armholes, sleeves and sides. 1 cm on the front edges, neck, collar, band and cuffs. There are no hems: the band and cuffs finish the lower edges.

Finished garment, measured flat. Chest is half the measurement all the way round. Length is centre back, neck to hem, including the band. Sleeve is from the top of the cap to the edge of the cuff. Inches / centimetres.
