About

Sewing patterns are all drafted with a certain type of consumer in mind, and for the most part it is nearly impossible to find silhouettes a younger generation is excited to sew and wear. I remember what it felt like being a young man trying to get into sewing, searching for cool clothes to make among patterns tailored to someone other than me.

Kissing Parasites fills that gap. Every pattern here is a garment I wear, or that people in my circle wear. The fits and silhouettes keep updating with what is current. The construction is what gets used in production, written out step by step so a beginner can follow it.

Where the patterns come from

I have spent years working in the fashion industry, from overseas to California, including production and design work for established brands. These patterns are drafted and graded the way a factory would receive them, then rewritten for a home machine and a home printer.

Nothing here is a beginner's compromise. The size range runs XS to XXL on the garments, seam allowance is marked on every piece, and the files are layered so you print your size and nothing else.

What you get

Each pattern downloads immediately by email after payment. You get a tiled file for US Letter or A4, a single A0 file for a copy shop, a construction workflow, finished measurements taken flat, and a fabric list with weights in gsm. There is nothing to ship and nothing to wait for.

Why it is priced this way

These are priced to be bought and sewn, not saved to a wishlist. A pattern that sits in a folder is worth nothing to you.
