Sweatshirts and hoodies drafted the way current streetwear is actually cut: dropped shoulders, deep armholes, and enough room through the body that the garment hangs instead of clinging. Both patterns in this section are marked beginner and use straight seams and standard knit construction, so this is the sensible place to start if you have not sewn knitwear before.

Each pattern runs XS to XXL and lists finished measurements taken flat, so you can size it against a sweatshirt you already own rather than a body chart. The Gusset Crew Neck has the V gusset at the neck and extended rib at the waist and cuffs. The Classic Fit Hoodie adds a two panel hood and a kangaroo pocket.

Both call for mid weight fleece or French terry between 280 and 380 gsm, plus 1x1 rib for the trim. Choosing fabric covers what to look for. When your files arrive, print at 100 per cent and check the test square before cutting.
